Terms of Service

Welcome to InterviewFM. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the InterviewFM website, mobile applications and related services.

By creating an account or using InterviewFM, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About InterviewFM

InterviewFM is an interview preparation and learning platform. Its features may include:

  • Interview listening content
  • Interview search and playlists
  • AI-generated interview questions and conversations
  • Mock-interview recording
  • Speech transcription
  • Automated evaluation and feedback
  • Resume and job-description analysis
  • Interview history and progress tracking
  • Free and paid features

Available features may vary depending on your device, application version, country and subscription plan.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or meet the minimum age required to use online services in your country.

If you are below the age at which you can legally agree to these Terms, you may use InterviewFM only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

You may need to create an account to use certain features.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Not share access with unauthorized users
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account

You must not attempt to access another person’s account.

Authentication may be provided through services such as Google or Apple. Your use of those authentication services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use InterviewFM for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes
  • Upload malicious code, viruses or harmful files
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, subscriptions or security controls
  • Access or interfere with InterviewFM systems without authorization
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the service except where permitted by law
  • Create accounts using false or stolen identities
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
  • Record another person without appropriate knowledge and consent
  • Use automated tools to overload, scrape or disrupt the service
  • Resell or commercially exploit InterviewFM without written permission
  • Use InterviewFM to generate discriminatory, threatening, illegal or harmful material

We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or when necessary to protect InterviewFM, its users or third parties.

5. User content

“User content” includes information you submit, upload or record, such as:

  • Resumes
  • Job descriptions
  • Interview preferences
  • Written answers
  • Voice recordings
  • Transcripts
  • Feedback and support messages

You retain ownership of your user content.

You grant InterviewFM a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service and provide the features you request.

You confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit the content
  • The content does not unlawfully violate another person’s rights
  • You have obtained appropriate consent before recording another person
  • You will not submit unnecessary sensitive or confidential information

Please avoid uploading identification numbers, financial details, medical records, passwords or other information that is not necessary for interview preparation.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-generated content

InterviewFM may use automated and artificial-intelligence systems to generate:

  • Interview questions
  • Sample answers
  • Transcripts
  • Resume analysis
  • Evaluations
  • Scores
  • Suggestions and feedback

AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for a particular situation. It should be treated as general interview-preparation assistance, not as verified professional advice.

You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on or using it.

InterviewFM does not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Interview selection
  • A job offer
  • A particular interview score
  • Acceptance by an employer
  • Accuracy of every generated response
  • Compatibility with every company’s recruitment process

Decisions about applications, interviews and employment remain your responsibility.

7. Voice recording and transcription

When you choose to use a mock-interview recording feature, InterviewFM may request access to your device’s microphone.

Recordings may be processed to provide transcription, evaluation and feedback. Do not record another person without their knowledge and any consent required by applicable law.

You can control microphone permissions through your device settings.

8. Subscriptions and payments

InterviewFM may offer subscriptions or other paid digital features.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable store and are subject to that store’s payment terms.

Before purchasing, review:

  • Price
  • Billing period
  • Included features
  • Trial terms, if offered
  • Renewal conditions

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store account before the renewal date.

You can manage subscriptions through:

Deleting your InterviewFM account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

9. Refunds

Payments processed through Apple or Google are generally subject to the respective store’s refund rules.

InterviewFM cannot directly approve every refund for transactions controlled by those platforms. Refund requests should normally be submitted through the store where the purchase was made.

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

10. Intellectual property

InterviewFM and its original software, design, branding, interfaces, written materials, generated library content and other service components are owned by or licensed to InterviewFM.

These Terms provide you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use InterviewFM for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, license or create unauthorized derivative products from InterviewFM content or software.

“InterviewFM,” its logo and related branding may not be used without permission.

11. Third-party services

InterviewFM may rely on third-party services for functions such as:

  • Authentication
  • Hosting and storage
  • Artificial-intelligence processing
  • Speech processing
  • Notifications
  • Analytics and diagnostics
  • Subscription processing

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

12. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but InterviewFM may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Network problems
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • Security incidents
  • Technical failures
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We may add, modify or discontinue features. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice if a material change significantly affects users.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

13. Account suspension and termination

You may stop using InterviewFM at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when:

  • These Terms are materially violated
  • The service is used fraudulently or unlawfully
  • Security or abuse risks are identified
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect users, InterviewFM or third parties

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.

14. Account deletion

You can initiate account deletion from the InterviewFM mobile application through the account or profile settings.

Account deletion is intended to delete or anonymize associated personal information unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deleting your account may permanently remove:

  • Profile information
  • Preferences
  • Playlists and bookmarks
  • Interview history
  • Resumes and job descriptions
  • Voice recordings and transcripts
  • Analysis results and generated feedback

Deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten through normal retention processes.

Remember to cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription separately.

15. Disclaimer

InterviewFM is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

InterviewFM is an educational and preparation tool. It is not an employment agency, recruiter, employer, legal adviser or career-placement guarantee.

We do not control employer decisions, job availability, recruitment processes or interview outcomes.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InterviewFM will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from:

  • Reliance on AI-generated content
  • Employment or interview decisions
  • Loss of data caused by circumstances outside reasonable control
  • Third-party service failures
  • Unauthorized access resulting from a user’s failure to secure their account
  • Temporary service unavailability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims or losses resulting from your unlawful use of InterviewFM, violation of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, business practices or legal obligations change.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice through the website, application or email.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
